WCS CONTRIBUTES TO EARTH DAY 2008

Once again Waterbury Crime Stoppers sponsored the Earth Day clean-up in June 2008. This year in addition to volunteers we provided, Waterbury Crime Stoppers also helped to defray the cost of lunch for the hundreds of volunteers.

Our support of Earth Day is another example of our belief that a clean city leads to decreased crime and an overall better attitude among citizens.

We would like to thank Frankie's for their contributions to this year's event. We would also like to thank the Litter and Beautification Committee, the City of Waterbury Park Department, and all of the volunteers who make the event succesful every year.

EARTH DAY 2004

Waterbury Crime Stoppers contributed to the sucess of Earth Day in 2004. Over 300 volunteers worked to clean the City like never before.

This year the Earth Day Cleanup was organized by the Litter and Beautification Committee. We would like to thank them for the well run event that enabled hundreds of volunteers to clean up the streets.

We would like to thank all of our Board Members who dedicated their time to the event, both with the clean up and in other capacities.
