WHAT WE DO
Waterbury Crime Stoppers pays CASH to anonymous callers who provide information leading to an arrest. The most important part of the Crime Stoppers Program is that it is ANONYMOUS. You will never be asked for your name or any identifying information. If you see a crime in your neighborhood call 203-755-1234, if your tip leadds to an arrest, you could receive up to $1000 cash.

For example:  If you see a person in your neighborhood selling drugs, you can call 203-755-1234, and report as much information as possible.  The information will be investigated and if it leads to an arrest, then you may be eligible for a reward at the next Waterbury Crime Stoppers monthly meeting.  You may call again to find out whether or not your information led to a reward, and where you can obtain your reward. 

Helpful Information you can provide:
  • License plate numbers
  • Make, model and color of vehicles
  • Address/location where the crime took place
  • Date & time when the crime occurred
  • Age, gender, approximate height & weight of perpetrator
  • Exact nature of crime  (burglary, drugs, illegal dumping, graffitti)
