Waterbury Police Department -

The Waterbury Police Department has been committed to the Crime Stoppers program since its inception. The PD recognizes that Crime Stoppers is an effective tool in assisting them in getting crime off the street.

The Department has a very effective Community Policing Strategy. The Department has assigned officers to specific neighborhoods in an effort to try and build a feeling of cooperation between the people in the neighborhoods and their police officer.
